About me..

I am the husband of Pamela since June 9, 1990 and the father of two sons, Marcus and Jonathan. I completed a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and taught five years in public and private high schools in Arkansas. I have spent over 15 years in various ministry roles, full-time since August 2000 when I became the lead pastor at River of Life Church in Hot Springs, Arkansas - a comeback church that is making a difference in our city!

I attended Regent University School of Divinity and completed the Master of Divinity degree in May 2009. In addition, I am a trained leadership coach with Lifeforming Leadership Coaching based in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Someone once said that that the definition of insanity is to keep doing the same thing over and over again expecting to get a different result. I don’t know how clinically accurate that is, but I have found it to be true from a leadership standpoint. An unwillingness to make needed changes to an organization’s structure or procedures can have disastrous consequences.

Welcome to EMcommunity! We are so glad you are here and look forward to getting to know you better. I just know this network of amazing women and girls will change your life like it has mine if you maximize everything it has to offer. When I came to EMwomen 9 months ago, I weighed 330 lbs and felt like my life had no purpose. Since then, I have lost over 115 lbs through the leadership programs and coaching and I haven't even gone to a gym yet. EMwomen has helped me change the way I think and give me the emotional strength to make great choices in life.
